We’re excited to team up with Studio Camo on A Fanzine of Collections!

This special publication celebrates personal collections that hold strong memories and capture moments in time. It’s about sharing the joy of collecting with others who truly appreciate and preserve those treasures, rather than just selling them on.

For us, this project is especially meaningful. We’ve been collecting cassettes for many years, never intending to part with them. These tapes are more than just objects—they’re pieces of our past, filled with memories, artwork, and sound. With the cassette shops we once visited now gone, our appreciation for these tapes has only grown.

When our good friend Paul, a fellow collector who shares our love for celebrating collections, invited us to contribute, we couldn’t help but feel the timing was right. A Fanzine of Collections is a tribute to the things that shape us, and we’re excited to share 18 of our favourite cassettes in this limited-edition issue.

A Fanzine of Collections is a new publication by Studio Camo that presents intriguing collections. Each issue gently unearths the untold and unseen stories behind them—exploring their significance, purpose, and the emotional responses they create. It’s not about the financial value of the items, but about the connections made through these collections—both with the objects themselves and with the people who interact with them. The fanzine also explores what a collector would want to pass on to someone who will appreciate it and find the same joy, rather than sell it.
